Northants Brewers At GBBF - Just 2 From 8

CAMRA have announced the British breweries who will be represented at this year's GBBF. It's a pretty long list and includes all the big players.

For some reason though, there's only two breweries from Northants: Great Oakley, and Potbelly. This is a low amount and just represents 25% of our real ale producers. I wonder what the issue is here?

    Hmmm. It's 6 from 10 for Kent.

I don't know how the beers for GBBF are selected, whether a certain quota is taken from each region or if other marketing powers are at play?

Scotland is well represented as usual but i cant believe they have missed out BrewDOG .IMO they are producing some of the best beer in this country. Hope this is just a provisional list.

I hadn't spotted that BrewDog are missing. That's a big surprise. They don't normally put up a provisional list so it is probably final. But you never know.
